We’ve known for a while that Jaguar plans on expanding on its successful XF range. Expected early next year is the 500-hp Jaguar XF-R which will make its debut a the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. According to AutoExpress, parent company Tata Motors has confirmed and greenlighted a coupe and a two-door convertible version of the XF as well.

The convertible XF will feature a folding fabric roof along with a slightly shorter wheelbase. The coupe is said to be more aggressive looking yet curvy like the Audi A5.

The Jaguar XF coupe and convertible will both share the XF sedan’s engine lineup including diesel and gasoline units. Both models are expected to make their debuts in 2010.
