At the Guangzhou Auto Show today, Ford unveiled the new Ford Fiesta ford-door sedan which follows Ford’s signature kinetic design language along with inspiration for the Verve Concept that made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show a year ago.

Production of the new Fiesta sedan will begin in the first quarter of 2009 at Ford’s Nanjing, China facility. The Ford Fiesta Sedan you see in the pictures is tailored to satisfy customers in China. However, additional version of the new Fiesta sedan will be available across Asia and North America starting 2010. Production will take place in Thailand and Mexico. Engine and other technical specifications will be revealed closer to launch.

Ford said the Fiesta sedan will not be made available in Europe.

i think a lot of it will depend on who goes out first. If GM and Chrysler both go bankrupt then that will open up a lot of market for the guys still standing and maybe…just maybe hold them off untill they can retool and implement their new business plan
