If you’re waiting on your brand new 2009 Porsche 997 you might end up waiting a little while longer. Yesterday morning two freight trains carrying around 106 units of new 2009 Porsche 911s collided outside of Dillenberg, Germany. According to people on the scene, at least 20 units were destroyed. It is not known whether anyone was hurt in the collision.
Things could have been worse as one of the two freight trains was carrying a tanker of very flammable liquids that did not ignite.
