Video: 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept in action

Chrysler’s biggest highlight at the 2008 SEMA Auto Show today is the Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept. Power for the Challenger SRT10 Concept comes from the Dodge Viper 8.4L V10 engine that produces 600-hp with a maximum torque 560 lb-ft. All that power is transferred to the wheels through a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission with Dodge Viper gear ratios.

Of course all that power requires some massive stopping power. The Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept features silver painted Brembo fixed calipers that feature six pistons in front and four pistons in back. Two-piece 390mm vented rotors are up front and 355mm vented rotors are in the rear.

The 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept features Tornado Red Paint and rides onĀ 20-inch Alcoa aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. A carbon-fiber hood and deck-lid were added to cut down the weight and add some good looks.

Of course Chrysler hasn’t said if they will produce the Challenger SRT10 but we’re sure if you pay them enough green they wouldn’t mind putting one together for you.
