You can buy the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS for $30,995 but if you want to donate some money and get one of the first units ever made, you’re going to have to pay up. The No.3 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS was recently auctioned off for $73,000 on eBay.

100 percent of the final sale price will support the College of Creative Studies a private four-year college offering Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in eleven studio majors.

According to CCS, the VIN number will be provided when vehicle is produced. The 2010 Camaro SS will be delivered to the winner by Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Saab HUMMER of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

    I would have thought that this car would have gone for a couple a hundie. Is this a case of bad financial times or is it that collectors don't find the Camaro to worth much?

    I think that the collector community is underwhelmed with the Camaro. I know I am.
