GM said today that it will be delaying the world premieres of the new Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac CTS Coupe. GM will now unveil the new Buick LaCrosse at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show but no confirmation has been made for the CTS Coupe.

The moves, according to GM, were made to reduce costs. We’ll let you believe that one if you want to but we’re pretty disappointed since we were looking forward to seeing the two models in LA.

Nonetheless, make sure you join us on Nov. 19th as we kick off live coverage of the 2008 LA Auto Show.

This move may be to reduce costs, but I would think that LA would be a nutural market for the coupe. This is a window into how bad things are at GM.
