The 2009 Nissan Maxima was just launched in June with pricing coming in at $29,290 and $31,990 for the 3.5 S and 3.5 SV respectively. Well, Nissan has just announced that due to the increase raw material cost, pricing on the 2009 Maxima is going up by $870.

The 2009 Maxima 3.5 S will now go for $30,160 while the 2009 Maxima 3.5 SV will go for $32,860. Buyers of the 3.5 SV can opt for the Sport Package which features a sports-tuned suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels, premium leather seats, paddle shifters and more. The Premium Package, available on both models, features a dual panel moonroof, 7-inch color monitor with RearView Monitor, Eucalyptus wood-tone trim and more.

Both models are powered by a 3.5L V6 that produces 290-hp mated to an Xtronic CVTO transmission. Fuel-economy comes in at 19/26 mpg (city/highway).
