Yesterday morning we saw leaked images of the 2010 Toyota Prius on PriusChat. Of course at first everyone thought they were Photoshops but Toyota has now confirmed over at its Toyota Open Road Blog that the “the car shown in these unauthorized photos – at least the ones we’ve seen so far – is indeed the new Prius.”

The 2010 Toyota Prius will make its debut at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show in January where Toyota will give us all the technical details on the new hybrid.

Obviously Toyota said they are not allowed to say anymore – however, you are allowed to talk as much as you want so let us know what you think of the new 2010 Toyota Prius. Let us know what you think in the comments section after the jump and by voting below.

Typical of most Toyota's lately...boring! But I really think they ruined this one. With the competition going to be in the same league in another year, the Prius is going to have a lot of competition; Honda Insight, etc. and even better, Chevrolet Volt. Toyota has done the same with the Prius now and they have with their other models and Toyota is now hurting. The next year or so should be interesting LOL

Please pull this story. The photos are fake. Different headlights in smaller photo. Have some credibility.
  • photos are not fake. It's been confirmed by Toyota. Believe us - we check everything before we post. http://blog.toyota.com/2008/10/the-real-deal.html
