For some of us, getting to 192-mph in a Lamborghini Gallardo isn’t that hard as long as we can get our hands on one. Well, Mr. Luc Costermans was lucky enough to have borrowed a Gallardo but unfortunately he didn’t have one thing that many of us have – his eyesight.

Still – that wasn’t about to stop the blind Belgian man who was ready to get behind the Gallardo. Once strapped in, Luc Costermans broke the world blind top speed record on an airstrip in France hitting a top speed of 192 mph on his second try. Costermans took the record from Mike Newman, a Briton who held the record with a BMW M5 hitting a top speed of 166 mph.

Costermans, 43, lost his eyesight in an accident four years ago.
