Fiat to revive the Dino badge for a Lotus Elise-based sportscar
Posted: Sep 19, 2008

Fiat is said to be working on a huge product onslaught over the next three years and according to CAR, the Italian automaker could re-launch the Dino badge. Don’t confuse the whole Fiat owning Ferrari thing with this revival of the Dino name. The badge will be seen on a Fiat branded vehicle and will be based on the Lotus Elise.
Lotus has let Fiat develop its own version of its roadster that will look a little different, but will be the same as the Elise overall. The Fiat sportscar could arrive on the market in 2011.
Fiat is also said to be working on a city car that will rival with the Smart. It will most likely share the underpinnings of the Fiat 500 minicar.
