2009 Infiniti FX37 coming to Europe, not to the U.S.

In the U.S. the 2009 Infiniti FX comes in two different versions – the FX35 and the 390-hp FX50. The 2009 Infiniti FX35 is powered by a 303-hp 3.5L V6 engine. That’s quite a gap between entry level and the range-topper. Well, next month at the Paris Motor Show Infiniti will reveal the FX37, which will be only sold in Europe.

Europeans will get to enjoy the 320-hp Infiniti FX37 as their entry level model which will be available in FX37 GT and FX37S versions. Both do 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds. The FX 37 GT comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, electric and heated/ventilated front seats, adaptive xenons, parking camera sensors, all-wheel-drive and a 7-speed automatic with paddle shifting. The FX37S gets 21 inch alloys, Continuous Damping Control and sports seats. Yes, some of those luxury items are optional on the stateside.

Pricing for the 2009 Infiniti FX37 starts at €55,950 ($79,437 USD). Being the first country where Infiniti sold cars – we feel pretty ripped off.
