2009 Toyota Tundra gets E85 Flex Fuel capacity, new 4-cylinder for Highlander

Toyota’s Open Road Blog is giving us some new info about 2009 product additions and upgrades. There are a couple of changes for which press releases aren’t available so we’re going to make the best of this blog post and tell you as much as we can.
The 2009 Tundra gets the capacity to use E85 Flex Fuel on all 4×4 models powered by the 5.7L V8. The Tundra also gets two new option packages including TRD Sport and TRD Rock Warrior. Both packages five the Tundra unique color trim levels and wheels.
The 2009 Toyota Highlander gets a new 2.6L 4-cylinder engine for the two-wheel-drive model producing 187-hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. EPA estimated fuel-economy comes in at 26 mpg on the highway. The ‘09 RAV4 also gets a new 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 179-hp (more than the one it replaces) and offers better fuel-economy. A new sport appearance package also is available on 4×4 V6 models.
The 2009 4Runner gets a new SR5 Trail Edition package which allows for power prowess during off-road driving. The ‘09 Tacoma gets four new exterior colors and an updated audio system.
