It’s an American supercar being reviewed by a publication which is known to hate American cars altogether, so before we even read Top Gear’s take on the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, we knew we were in for something surprising.
And surprised we were when we read things like “The dynamics are better than an Aston DBS, but you don’t get the precision of a 599 or “What we have here is one of the truly great supercars.”
Kudos to GM for making one of the greatest supercars. With 638-hp in a car weighing 1,518kg with the ability to do 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph – you can’t go wrong. Not to mention a starting price tag of $103,300.
