The 2008 LA Auto Show and the 2009 Detroit Auto Show will be very important ones for FoMoCo’s luxury band, Lincoln. Both models have already been confirmed by Ford and will hit the market early next year.

The production Lincoln MKT will be unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show while the redesigned Lincoln MKZ will show its face at the 2008 LA Auto Show in November.

The Ford Flex based Lincoln MKT will offer two engine choices including a 3.7 liter V6 engine and an EcoBoost 3.5 liter V6 that will produce an estimated 340 horsepower and 340 lb.-ft. of torque.
