GM releases official pics of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS

It’s about time! After seeing a weird picture of Fergie posing next to it, some amateur shots of it in the desert and one official shot - GM has finally released 8 high-res photos of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS.

No press release accompanied the pictures but we already know everything there is to know about the new Camaro SS. Power comes from a 6.2L V8 engine producing 422-hp with a maximum torque of 408 lb-ft.

Dealers will start taking orders next month with pricing to start right above $30,000. Buyers can also opt for the RS package which gives the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS HID headlamps with integrated halo rings, a spoiler, specific tail lamps and 20-inch wheels.

    Puh-lease… Mustang is just now getting to the teaser pics..

    What I find exciting about the new camaro, as well as the current mustang, is the potential each represents. Looking at either car, I think “well, I could drop a … in there. I hope, and expect that GM will put some teeth behind the SS badge. It looks like it has cadillac cts fog light alike.
