Toyota is ready to show the world the production iQ at the 2008 Paris Motor Show next month – but it was nice enough to release some images of the minicar today.

The new 2009 Toyota iQ will go on sale in Japan next month followed by Europe in early 2009. Buyers will have a choice of a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder producing 70-hp or a 1.4 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel producing up to 89-hp.

Toyota is also rumored to be working on a hybrid version of the Toyota iQ.
