About 2 months ago Lotus introduced a special-edition version of the Elise SC as a tribute to Jim Clark winner of two F1 World Championships for Team Lotus in 1963 and 1965. Clark won a total of 25 Grand Prix races and was the first to Briton to win the Indi 500.
Initially Lotus planned to build only 25 units of the special-edition Lotus Clark Type 25 Elise SC but due to popular demand Lotus has decided to produce an additional 25 units for the mainland European market. The Clark Type 25 Elise SC comes with a removable hard top and British Racing Green with a yellow stripe as well as Lotus Sports wheels finished in historic black and silver.
Power comes from the Elise SC’s 1.8 liter supercharged engine that produces 218-hp allowing for a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 148 mph.
Interested buyers can pick up the car for £35,995, which includes £5,750 worth of options for just £3,445.
