As you already know GM is offering employee pricing on almost 90% of its vehicles including all of its 2008 Chevrolet models – and while most of you are probably wishing that the Chevrolet Camaro was a 2008 model instead of a 2010 there are still some goodies in the Chevy lineup for you.

Usually when GM runs these sorts of events it excludes its high-performance models like the Corvette but this time you can pick up the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 base version, the 1LZ, at $62,653 – yes that’s almost $10,000 off (originally starting at $72,125).

The other remaining two trim levels are discounted slightly more than $10,000 according to KickingTires who dug up this info. But hurry quick because the employee pricing sale ends September 2nd.

Refresher: Power comes from a 6.0 L LS2 V8 that produces 400 hp and 400 lb-ft with the ability to go from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
