It’s been a while since we heard anything about Audi’s upcoming four-door-coupe CLS-fighter model – the A7. According to CARandDRIVER, the model could debut as early as next year as a 2010 model (don’t tell them but we already knew that – it’s June 2009 to be exact).

We’ve heard rumors that it the A7 will be built on an all-new platform but CARandDRIVER says it may very well use the A5 platform in order to save cost. The range-topper RS 7 model is expected to be a twin-turbo V10 engine producing 600-hp. Other than that we know that the lineup will consist of three petrol and two diesel powertrain choices. The engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Audi A7 Cabriolet will make its official debut in 2011.
