It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything on the Nurburgring war between the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the Nissan GT-R. Hoping to keep their victory fresh in the minds of enthusiasts, GM has released new pictures of the Corvette ZR1 lapping the Nurburgring.

The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 lapped the famous German track in 7:26.4, beating Godzilla’s official time of 7:29. Click here to check out the video.

Refresher: Power comes from a LS9 supercharged 6.2L V8 engine producing 638-hp, giving it the ability to go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 205mph.
