For everyone looking forward to the Nissan GT-R Spec-V – you just might have to wait a little longer. According to BestCar, the Nissan GT-R Spec-V was supposed to launch by this fall – however it will be delayed to the end of this year or early next year.

In the meantime Nissan will launch a special-edition GT-R badged the “Evolution.” The Nissan GT-R Evolution will consist of an upgraded suspension and wheels, lighter body parts and an upgraded ECU.

You can expect an official announcement by the end of August.

I would delay it too if I knew the Audi R8 V10 was coming out soon with better expectations then the GT-R V-Spec. At THAT level of performance I would not care much which car was faster. I expect they will be similar in performance. However, without a doubt in my mind I would choose the classier, much nicer looking R8. Although I admit I have been an admirer of the Skyline GT-Rs for years and wondered if they would ever make it to the States. Now they have, but Audi has created a marvel also.

    Audi wins in my book.
