Mercedes-Benz SLC Gullwing will be badged as an AMG model

We saw spy shots of an upgraded prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC Gullwing. Ready to be unveiled in 2011. According to CAR, the SLC Gullwing will be exclusively badged as an AMG model with no Mercedes-Benz badging anywhere.

The high-performance SLC Gullwing will be powered by a 6.3 liter V8 producing up to 600-hp allowing it to go from 0 to 60mph in 3.8 seconds. Top speed will come in at more than 200mph.

    That would make sense why the “6.2″ only makes 500 hp.. They're setting it up to maybe bore it out?? And of course tune it up to 575-600.. This could also be put in their other cars to compete with the RS6 and whatever M puts out…
