The 2009 Volkswagen Golf VI will make its official debut later this week, but of course you can always count on the internet to leak images and details ahead of launch dates. As you can see from the images the exterior and interior design of 2009 Volkswagen Golf is infuenced by the new 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco.

We don’t know everything yet but the powertrain lineup is expected to include a wide range of gasoline engines ranging from 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI. Diesel options will include a 1.9 and 2.0 TDI. The engines will be mated with a manual transmission and an optional automatic DSG gearboxes. The engines are coupled with manual, automatic and DSG-gearboxes.

The next-generation Volkswagen Golf will arrive in the U.S. later next year. We’ll have more info later this week.
