Bugatti will hold the world premiere of the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d”Elegance on August 16th, 2008. So far Bugatti has released minimal details and two pictures of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport – roadster with a removable roof (targa-top).

On August 17th, the highest bidder will have the opportunity to win a trip to the Molsheim/Alsace factory and customize their own Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Roadster.

More details will be available at the launch of the car, but so far we know it’s going to be less powerful at 990-hp with a top speed limited to 217mph. Bugatti will kick off production in early 2009 building only 80 units.
