As gas-prices are on the rise, Americans are leaving their cars at home and are traveling short distances on their Segways (how about walking for a change?). Even cops are chasing down law-breaking citizens on their Segways. A Jackson, Michigan cop arrested an 18-year old female yesterday morning for driving while under the influence.
Of course, it wasn’t a high-speed chase. Segways top-out at around 13mph and the woman was traveling at least 40 miles per hour. The cop caught up to her when she stopped her car.
But Segways can’t fit two people so he ended up calling for backup to take the 18-year old to jail.
We’re just left wondering what a drunk Segway rider would look like.
