Last week we brought you some updated news on the upcoming 2010 Acura NSX. We learned that the upcoming Nissan GT-R and Lexus LF-A rival will produce 600-hp with a peak torque of 443 lb-ft mated to a rear-wheel-drive architecture with a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. We also learned that the NSX will lighter than the Nissan GT-R – a whole 550 pounds lighter.
But according to latest reports from Japan the 2010 Acura NSX will cost more than twice as much as the Nissan GT-R. According to InsideLine, Acura is expected to price the two-seater at $160,000 putting it in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage category.
All we know is, if the NSX will go past the $160,000 mark and look the way it does in these renderings, it better beat the Nissan GT-R’s and Corvette ZR1’s lap-time at the Nurburgring.
