LaBeouf injured after rolling over his F-150, suspected of DUI

Actor Shia LaBeouf, who is currently filming Transformers: Rise of the Fallen, was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of drunk driving after being involved in a serious car accident in Hollywood in which he rolled his Ford F-150 after colliding with another vehicle when making a left turn. LaBeouf, 22, seriously injured his hand in the accident. The driver of the other vehicle and LaBeouf’s unidentified female passenger were not seriously injured.

Police arrested LaBeouf on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence and later released him. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for surgery on his left hand along with a knee injury and a minor head injury.

LaBeouf spokesman said that he underwent surgery and plans to return to the set of the Transformers sequel within a month.
