This is an amazing car. It's got good handling, speed, and horsepower all for a great price. It doesn't look anything like the Mustang or Challenger, which is good. This is not a car that has poor handling, excessive body roll, or dull steering. That can be found in GM's old cars. Their new cars, the Camaro, CTS-V, and ZR1, all are absolutely amazing. Anyone who thinks the 2010 Camaro isn't good is an ignorant fool. Look at it on paper. Sit in it. Drive it. You'll see that it's quite amazing. Don't let GM's economic troubles or terrible cars from the '80s and '90s fool you. They can make amazing cars now. Don't just assume it'll be terrible, because it won't. So wake up, read reviews from everyone, and you'll see that the Camaro is astonishing. Stop being stupid and get smart.

This seems like a marketing stunt more than a way to bolster the car's sporty image. GM is trying to build an image that this is a serious sports car for the budget minded. The press reviews will determine if the SS really owns up to the image GM is marketing. If the car gets the above numbers but scares the hell out of its driver in the process (ie poor handling, excessive body roll, dull steering feel, etc.), then this car will not be well received by enthusiasts. I have no doubt that it will sell, but I want to see beyond GM's marketing and see the real car.
