This is more of a service issue, so i wonder if you could pass this on to the appropiate department please. I purchased my Mini from KNAUZ in Illinois, USA BACK ON 10TH Oct 2003. Since i picked it up there has always been a rattle towards the RH side of the car. I took it to my nearest dealer in Millwaukee WI to have the coputer upgraded and the rattle to be looked at. I was told it was a piece of loose insulation in th RH door pannel. This was not so as the noise still peristed.
Eventually i found out when the sunroof was openened the noise dissapered. My question is "How do you tighten the mechanism on the runners up to stop this rattle" please. The car has 60,000 miles on the clock, but pay anything to overcome this rattle. I would use duct tape if i new where to put it. The roads here in Wisconsin are not quite as smooth as in the UK as temps often drop to 30 below (F) I was born in the UK and lived there for 33 years so i grew up wih Mini, and i love mine as well. Any advice would be appreciated, as i have put up with this for 5.1/2 years now.
Thank You

Peter J.
