I can't think of a single friend, co-worker, or neighbor who will buy a Cadillac Sportwagon. Recently, I met an 84 uear -old woman in our local Kroger parking lot. She caught my eye because she was driving a blue Honda Civic with a temporary license plate. I helped her load her groceries into the Civic. She bought her first car, a Chevy, in 1949, owned Chevies all these years. Her last Chevy, a Malibu, had multiple problems her dealer could or would not repair.She bought a Civic because of its reputation as a quality car. GM will need more than the Cruse and a Cadillac wagon to save them.

Oh you know we will all be renting a cruze 3 years from now!

If they run a 4-cyl 1.4 litre (euro spec engine) maybe hybrid then 40 should be easy but average across a range od engines, not likely

The mor ei look I am certain they have messed with the aspect ratio to the cars look bigger!!!!

Kudos to GM for putting out nice designs. I read an article about Ed Welburn U.S. Head of Design) where he said that the CTS coupe would not have been approved for production based on GM's old design standards for sightlines, etc. To me it sounds, and now looks, like they are making great strides in design and working outside of their own box of old standards.

Am i the only one who thinks the Cruze looks lik ean extended Photo to make it look bigger than it actually is, the spy shots all looked like a more compact car.
Like it though and hope they do a Pontiac G4 version!!!

they all look pretty good. Im curious as to how their going to average 40 mpg's with the cruze? And is their actually a demand for the CTS sportwagon, it reminds me of the dodge magnum (which i think is getting the axe?) even though i do like wagons, I dont know if this is going to sell?

Also, are they all goin to come with those low profile tires and rims? Base models can kill the image of a car even if the SS model looks really nice… it will still be considerd a “rental car” = lame… etc.

I don't believe the Cruze will really get 40mpg, but it looks very nice anyway. The Buick looks nice, but I can't help but wonder how the next “flagship” will fair after being priced too high and equiped most likely with the 3.8L V-6 pushrod as standard equipment, forcing buyers to spend alot to get a decent engine.

Screw that, Buick might end up having to save GM, albeit with chinese models. And Saab is very good. It is just floundering under GM. GM should maybe sell it, but kill it, no way.

The Cruze looks like a winner, I can't wait to see this car face off against Ford's Euro Focus.
