So you remember that top-secret BMW event we told you about at the beginning of this month that we thought wasn’t related to the new 2009 BMW 7-Series - well, it was. BMW built the world’s biggest hour-glass on the Red Square in Moscow.

The 2009 BMW 7-Series will arrive in the U.S. in spring of 2009 in two versions including the 750i and the 750Li. Power comes from the X6 xDrive50i’s 4.4L twin-turbo V8 producing 400-hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
