
Update: Ray Wert of Jalopnik says his sources claim that GM will hold a 2 hour satellite broadcast to Chevrolet dealers on July 22nd with the Camaro being the main subject. Technical details, dates and pricing are expected to be revealed.
According to 5thgen.org the announcement for the production 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will happen in 11 days (July 21st 22nd). Either this is a really good publicity stunt to drive more traffic to their site, or they have some inside information on the unveiling of the Camaro.
Both the Chevrolet Camaro and Camaro convertible will go into production in January 2009 at GM’s Oshawa Car Assembly plant in Canada. The fifth-generation Camaro coupe won’t hit dealerships until spring of 2009 as a 2010 model. The convertible will arrive an year later.
