Volkswagen today launched a microsite that previews the company’s take on future vehicle design by 2028. We have no idea what the significance of the year 2028 is but Volkswagen unveiled three concept cars to show what their vision holds for the future.

The three concept cars include the one (a one-passenger vehicle), the ego (a sporty two-seater) and the room (a family-passenger vehicle).

The site kicks of with a short movie including a father and son talking about the past of automotive technology. After the movie Volkswagen discusses the technology of the future and features available in the cars of 2028 including emissions free, accident free and gasoline free driving.
