Honda will unveil a new lightweight sports car concept called the Open Study Model (OSM) at the London Motor Show on July 22nd. The two-seater OSM, designed by Honda’s r&d center in Offenbach, Germany, the concept is designed to be fuel-efficient and low in CO2 emissions.

Honda has not released any technical details about the OSM Concept. According to Steve Kirk, spokesman for Honda, “At present the OSM is just a design study, a clay model. It is definitely not confirmed for production at the moment.”

Kirk said if the OSM is ever approved for production it would definitely fit in Honda’s green product range. And no guys, it will not be a successor to the S2000.
