So we hear the Volkswagen Scirocco R teaser may be a photoshop, however we do know that Volkswagen is indeed considering a faster and more powerful version of the Scirocco. We just don’t know when it’s going to come out.

In the mean time we’ll have to keep drooling over the Volkswagen Scirocco GT24. The car, powered by a direct-injection turbocharged 2.0L producing 321-hp, came in 11th during the 24-hour Nurburgring race.

Check out this video of engineers building the Scirocco GT24 and testing it out around the famous German track before the big race.
