It is kind of fun to watch a company still try and talk up a product a 100 years later. Most of the items mentioned are true, there are a couple of stretches though. The whole personalize it thing it hard to buy. Car makers back then were all using different coach builders and as a result all sorts of add on's were the norm. Lets not forget why we say a car has a trunk, back then they actually strapped a trunk (chest) on the back of cars. Another slight distortion has to be the Model T establishing left hand drive. Ford is pointing out that cars had many set ups. But the reality is LHD was established before the Model T was even a twinkle in ole Henry's eye. LHD with horse carriages, and the side of the road traffic was to travel were all set in stone before the Model T. The last point I am going to make is the pop culture icon, for which the Model T was. But so was the Merrie Oldsmobile along with the Oldsmobile out running the train, many others come to mind, but my rant has gone on long enough.
