And only a honda fan would put a body kit on a fucking van, i mean how desperate and pathetic do you really have to be. And if you were able to read like a human being i said 90% of them were. Ya there re-sale value on average is higher than the other consumers out there, but hey you fecal fuck stain open your eyes and look at the initial sale value is on average 4,000 higher than the competition so ya they are selling for higher down the road but they are depreciating at the same rate you smacktard. I mean pull your head outta the exhaust pipe of that little ricer that you own and figure it out.

As kia's reputation grows (asuming it gets better) their pricing will be closer to honda. But if your looking at resale value, both the pilot and the sorento are going to depreciate a tone after the first few years (like all new cars). I compared the sorento and pilot (2004's) and both cars resale value today are around 50% (+-3%) less than the original MSRP. When you compare resale prices for a rio and civic the civic wins easily but ill admit the rio is getting better every year

you make no sense by categorizing 100% of civic buyers as "tuner nuts" and "depressed fat guys" and this being hondas entire market? Honda has been consistant with reliability throughout the years and it is obvious when you look at their resale value compared to their competition. I'll admit the civic has a huge fan club, but this is not because of fat tuner nuts, its because the civics reliability, power to weight ratio, easily tunible, and the car has only gone through subtle changes throughout the years which i think helped keep the loyals around. Civics not the only car with a loyal fan base, their Odysey mini van and accord have big fan clubs too

The thing is that honda is tryign to increase market share agressively. They are like all car companies continually coming out with new and inovative things. They advertise more than any other car company on the market right now, and have been doing so for the last 10 years, yet still they are still coming up short when it comes to increase in market share. The one thing that holds true is that if Honda didn't have the Civic they would have nothing, it has its gigantic grove of followers, and 90% of them are gigantic tools. They are typically tuner nuts, ricers and chotches, who have some sort of a self esteem issue so they think that buying a honda and putting some acessories on it will make them feel better about themselves and look cooler. So ya if it wasn't for the Civic and all the depressed fat guys out there honda would not have a market for the vehicles at all.

Ya, hearing that there one fo the only automakers that didn't drop in sales last month is completely bogus. The domestics dropped huge and Kia gained something liek 17% of market share. Hyundai was the same and Of course toyota gained a shit load

Whats with all the honda nuts??? I wont deny that honda makes a quality vehicle. But now lets get real here Kia is not sacrificing quality and safety in there vehicles in order to gain market share, if that was the case then they wouldn't have the only mini-van in the market to be scored perfect by the IIHS in the crash test rating. The rio was voted to have the best initial quality and is one of the only 3 sub-compacts that comes standard with heated seats. Not only that but Kia has the confidence to back there vehicles better than any of the other car manufacturers on the market. Kia's standard warranty is a 5year/100,000km powertrain, comprhensive and roadside assistance warranty. That goes even more in-depth if you take a closer look at it as well. Where as the other manufacturers are putting on a 3year/60,000km roadside and comprhensive. But oh they do put a 5year/100,000km powertrain warranty on there vehicles. Lets be honest here we are all car people a powertrain warranty is bunk it covers nothing. If something is going to break on your vehicle well the powertrain is actualy the least likely thing that is going to go. And lets get real here how can Honda ask $41,000+ for the Pilot LX, When Kia is only asking $34,000 for the Sorento LX. Just look at the features on the two in a heads up competition, I mean lets get real the Pilot has less options that come standard in the Sorento and the MSRP is over $7,000 more. Like lets get real here all the Kia vehicles are priced and loaded more competitively compaired to the competitors. So to be blunt with Kia your getting the best bang for your buck. Best warranty, more options, Amazing fuel ecomomy, safety and performance to boot. Why wouldn't you buy a Kia, probably becasue your mis-informed about the vehicle you know shit all about the company and you haven't taken the time to learn about the company. So for the statement i bet kia wishes they had hondas to sell. I bet the don't because honda is quickly pricing themselves out of the market. There only price competative vehicle is the entry level civic but if you want a decent set of options in it you may as well bend over and take it. The most ignorant people in the market are those that are loyal to honda. There like someone who was born in 1901, don't like change wont accept change. If something isn't done the the "honda level" aka "over priced and under optioned" Then its not the right way. But if you enjoy having your bank account raped, then go for it purchase a honda, but heads up the quality of a kia is that and more of a honda. And for those people who say that honda holds its resale value better. Open your eyes its priced 7 grand higher than everyone else. Oh yes i am canadian so if your looking at my numbers saying thats not right its on the canadian terms

They better be careful --- aggressively trying to increase sales can backfire in terms of quality - just ask Toyota. Honda seems to just be puttering along & to a lesser degree Nissan but I am sure if either of them aggressively wanted to increase market share they could.

Actually, Honda probably will after their new plant building Civics opens.
