Video: Quantum of Solace trailer shows Aston Martin DBS in action

We’ve seen numerous spy shots of the new Bond movie “Quantum of Solace,” and now Sony Pictures has revealed the first official trailer.

A lot went into making “Quantum of Solace” including three Aston Martin DBS’s that we’ve counted; one that plunged into a lake in northern Italy, one during a car chase scene that left the stunt driver critically injured and another where Daniel Craig crashes it into a quarry (on purpose).

“Quantum of Solace” will hit the big screen on November 7, 2008.

    Daniel Craig is insisting that production company EON fits his Bond car with special tyres during promotional activities. Tyres that will actually be able to handle the amount of horsepower produced by the Aston Martin DBSs he’s cruising around in. After all the crashes that occurred during the shoots… I have a cousin working at EON who told me. I didn’t believe it at first but then he showed me a photo he took with his mobile (check it out). http://img382.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dcs040... Looks good!

    That Aston Martin DBS is just so awesome. Even better than the DB9 I think! And those tyres are for safety? Whatever… looks pretty hot that tread!
