The G8 is a very nice approach at a tribute to the El Camino, but one thing remains. It's not an El Camino unless it has a bow-tie on it. No offence to Pontiac... I love most any GM product; if you're going to do it then atleast try to keep it half way traditional. Flatten the nose just a little, give the body a littl bit of muscle, lift the front an inch, and drop the rear an inch. I personally would like to see some classic, retro-like wheels on it. Like i said, just keep it simple... classic; stay as close to original as possible. Thats just the opinion of an avid el camio collector. I own 6 el caminos: 1964, 1966, 1969, 1975, 1977, and 1980; 1977 being the less favorable... yet mypersonal favorite. Just take it from an el camino connesiuer. Keep it Chevy... keep it real.
