Lotus has revealed this teaser image of its upcoming Lotus Eagle. The wraps will be taken off fully at the British Auto Show later next month.

What do we know so far about the car? The 2+2 sports car is expected to carry a V6 producing 262-hp along with a peak torque of 248 lb-ft. Weight has been reduced with the use of Lotus Engineering’s Versatile Vehicle Architecture technology that combines lightweight aluminum vehicle architecture.

Production is expected to begin at the end of 2008 with UK sales starting in spring of 2009, with U.S. sales starting shortly after that. Pricing will start around £45,000 ($89,085 in USD).
