Next-generation Kia Spectra teaser image released

The second teaser of the next-generation Kia Spectra was released today via kia-world.net. Known as the Kia Forte sedan (on the other side of the world) the car will take cues from the Kia KOUP concept, such as the H-Pattern grille, we saw at the 2008 New York Auto Show.

The premiere for the 2009 Kia Forte is set for August 21. More details will be available later this summer.

    ya it does look like a civic and a little EOS in too… but its hard to make a coupe look very different without appealling to the masses. I think Kia did a good job here, it looks agressive and sporty and not too weird

    it does look like (if not better than) the civic. if it gets a 2 liter turbo 4, i might think about it. sign me up for a great warranty from kia and predict a high resale value… SIGN ME UP!!!

    resale value is a deal breaker! but this car does look very good for a KIA or any coupe for that matter

    Yeah, don't buy a Kia with any expectation of resale. But with the warranty and the MPG, you could just drive through the next election cycle.
