Ferrari Enzo successor to be based on Millechilli and FXX

Posted: June 23, 2008

About a month ago, we saw spy shots of what was being called the production version to the 860-hp Ferrari FXX Evoluzione or a prototype for the next Enzo. CARandDRIVER is now reporting that Ferrari is working on a lightweight two-seater loaded with F1 technology. The car will supposedly be based on the Millechilli, but the Millechilli name won’t be carried over to the production model.

The car is expected to use a derivative of F430’s aluminum space frame technology and will be ultra-light and fuel-efficient (well fuel-efficient for that segment).

Power is expected to come from a V10 producing upwards of 600-hp. Competitors are expected to be cars like the Murcielago and Veyrons. Pricing is expected to start above $500,000.
