Run-flat tires are awesome. Designed to resist the effects when punctured, run-flat tires let you travel at a reduced speed for a limited distance, usually up to 100 miles (some let you do 200 and over). Many BMW models now carry run-flat tires and to advertise the technology BMW came up with this ‘Runner’ commercial that we think is a bit too extreme and makes you go “ooo ouch.”

    Besides the nonchalant attitude of the runner, I really enjoyed the sound effect of the puncture. Germans really seem to enjoy pain, even watching it.

    that's nasty. maybe the germans are more extreme than the rest of us, but if i saw that on tv it would make me want to switch channels.
