Turns out that Michael Bay and his crew are still hanging out in Philly shooting scenes from his upcoming sequel to the Transformers series. Seen here is the Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee along with the Chevrolet Beat and Trax concept.

No word on what robots will be played by the Chevrolet Trax and Beat or whether they will transform at all. Nonetheless, it’s great product placement for GM to promote the two compact cars. Imagine a fuel-efficient environmentally friendly transformer.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will hit theaters on June 26th, 2009 (that’s exactly 371 days from now - yes, we’re a little obsessed with the Transformers series).
