Porsche is increasing the prices for the new 2009 Cayenne SUV between 2.3 and 4.3 percent over the 2008 models. The base model 2009 Cayenne starts at $45,495 while the Cayenne S starts at $60,295. The Cayenne GTS starts at $71,795, and the Cayenne Turbo starts at $98,595. Porsche recently announced the 550-hp Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. The 4.8L V8 twin-turbo will cost you $124,495, including shipping.

All 2009 Porsche Cayenne models are scheduled to hit dealerships on July 14th. The Cayenne Turbo S will arrive on August, 8th.

Unlike the rest of the SUV segment that is complaining about sales, the Porsche Cayenne is the German brands top-seller in terms of volume. In May, Cayenne sales were up 6.5 percent with 1,192 units sold.
