Currently you can get behind the 361-hp Pontiac G8 GT for $29,995. However, heading to dealers very soon will be the 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and according to GM Inside News, pricing on the 2009 models will be going up by $1,365 for a total of $31,365.

Why? All 2009 Pontiac G8 models will come standard with XM Radio capability and Bluetooth connectivity. The base Pontiac G8 is expected to remain at $27,595. No word on the GXP model as of yet but we’d expect it to go up as well.

Power for the base Pontiac G8 comes from a 3.6L V6 engine producing 256-hp. The G8 GT model is powered by a 6.0L V8 that produces 361-hp and 385 lb-ft of torque.
