If Toyota can pull off the pricing and economy numbers they will have a hit on their hands. It already has a better funky factor than the Yaris, and people in the states trust Toyota more than Mercedes (for that price bracket anyway.)

My Smart car gets between 55 and 60 mpg consistently and I live in a rural setting.

Let's see if they do the right thing and give it a more fuel efficient engine than the Smart.

These size cars should be pulling better MPG than a 36 combined estimate.

I am impressed with the toyota styling of this car.
I just hope thee will be a similar exciting for the larger models and especially lexus models.
