Infiniti G37 coupe to get all-wheel-drive in 2009

Infiniti will be shaking things up a little for its 2009 lineup of the G35 sedan and the G37 coupe. We already know that the G35 sedan will be replaced by a G37 sedan that will carry the 330-hp 3.7 liter V6 engine from the G37 coupe.

Confirmed via a dealer ordering guide sheet leak today is a G37 coupe all-wheel-drive, which will be known as the G37x AWD Coupe. Pricing of course will be different for the G37x AWD Coupe.

    Electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and manual shift mode with Downshift Rev Matching
    Exterior
    Scratch Shield paint
    Interior
    Dial-type seat heater switches
    Color and Trim
    Add Moonlight White (QAA)
    Delete Ivory Pearl (QX1)
    Washi-finish trim replaces aluminum trim for driver and passenger interior door pull handles (does not apply for vehicles with African rosewood interior trim)
    Convenience
    Power door locks with automatic locking

    And here I am like a sucker with an 08. I also thought only the Euros were getting these lovely additions, but clearly, I was wrong.

    Exactly, but the irony is the Inifiniti version will be the cheaper version.

    this is a common feeling among new car buyers… the car is only the latest and greatest for less than the first year of ownership, its a bummer

    But it works out for the image to stay intact. I think Toyota should have done the same with the LF-A / supra (unless they have something else in the works?)
