Some of you were impressed and some of you are still like “wtf?” The BMW GINA Light Visionary Concept revealed this week made a couple of us here at eGMCarTech pause and say “wow BMW keeps innovating” while others were like “there is no feature for a car with a fabric exterior that changes shape on demand.” Whatever the case, BMW says that the GINA Light Visionary Concept is a ‘research object’ so a production version is highly unlikely. The concept is basically meant to help engineers and designers maximum freedom when developing a new car.

Check out this video we put together from a couple of videos that BMW sent us of the GINA winking, opening up its hood, bending, stretching and the many other shapes it takes.

Check out our original GINA Light Visionary Concept post for all the details and images.
