Toyota seems to be pretty hyped with the Toyota Camry finally outselling the Ford F-150. The Japanese automaker is now considering increasing the production of the strong-selling sedan.

According to sources, it is looking at its underused light-truck plant in Princeton Indiana. As sales of the Tundra fall, Toyota has lowered production at its two-shift Princeton plant.

Toyota sold a total number of 51,291 Camrys last month, being out the Ford F-Series as one of the top selling vehicles. Honda’s Civic and Toyota’s Corolla took the number one and number two spot respectively.

See, pay attention GM and Ford. Instead of closing plants, change them over to models that sell well.
